Symposium "Innate immunity and cardiovascular disease"

Acute and chronic immune responses elicited by atherosclerosis and myocardial ischemia play an important role in the progression of atherosclerotic disease towards clinical events and functional deterioration of the heart. Increasing evidence argues that the innate immune system can be used as a target to intervene in cardiovascular disease processes as well as monitoring of the disease. Prominent speakers from all over the world will give an overview of the current status including Toll-like receptors, microparticles, atherosclerosis, ischemia/reperfusion, heart failure and biomarkers

Update: voor dit symposium is inmiddels accreditatie verkregen. Cardiologen krijgen 6 punten. Vergeet niet uw BIG nummer mee te nemen.
