About the Durrer Center

Interuniversitair Cardiologisch Instituut Nederland

The Durrer Center for Cardiogenetic Research is a national institute for gathering, archiving and analysing genetic cardiovascular information (data and material) for scientific research. The Durrer Center is a cooperative initiative of all Dutch university hospitals and is open for cooperations with all other Dutch clinics and initiatives abroad. Goal is to develop the Durrer Center as a center of excellence in the field of cardiogenetics.

The Durrer Center facillitates cardiogenetic research in the Netherlands by bringing together researchers, expertise, knowledge bases, DNA, biomaterial, and phenotypic information of large samples of patients and controls in several cardiogenetic areas.
